The promoter is FutureX Innovation Ltd. (here mentioned as "FutureX) whose registered office is at 7/7 Ritchie Place, Edinburgh, EH11 1DT.
Entry to the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Competition entry opens on 17 February 2021 and closes on 14 March 2021 at midnight (UK time). Any entries received after the 14 March 2021 will not be eligible.
Only one person per company is eligible for application. The person in question must be Founder or Co-founder of the company.
After entries close, the Impact Summit competition semi-final will take place remotely the week commencing 29 March 2021, you must be available for this. You will be notified of the timings and sent further details closer to the time but the semi-finals will take place at some point that week, between 09:00 and 17:00 UK Time. You will need access to a computer with a stable internet connection, a webcam and a mic.
The final pitch will be held at Impact Summit 2020, online, on 20th May 2021 (the event runs from approximately 08:30 to 15:00 UK time on 19th and 20th May 2021) with the winner being announced on the 20th May. If you have been selected to present in the final pitch, you must be available to pitch live on the final date selected. You will need access to a computer with a stable internet connection, a webcam and a mic.
Eligibility for entry is aged 18 or over. Proof of age may be required.
Entry is by form submission on landing page (https://impact-summit.org/competition)
Entrants grant FutureX the license to use the data collected for all purposes including, but not limited to, post-promotion and the opportunity to offer the results to the media. Data collected may be passed on to carefully selected third parties in accordance with the data protection act and FutureX Privacy Policy.
Entrants grant FutureX the licence to use any photography or video collected during the Impact Summit competition pitches in post promotional activity and media.
The competition prizes are as follows:
a. One spot on the Online FutureX Silicon Valley programme. The prize is valid for the 2021 programme and is non-transferable. There are no substitutions or cash redemptions for the prize.
b. Other prizes will be added. Some prizes may have their own Terms & Conditions. There are no substitutions or cash redemptions for any prize.
No additional, further or other costs or expenses are included in any prize unless stated in the applicable Specific Terms. For example, unless stated in the applicable Specific Terms, the costs of transport to and from a venue or an event are not included.
The winner will be announced at Impact Summit 2019 on 20 May 2021.
The winner must confirm their acceptance of the prize within 14 days of notification.
FutureX reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. In the event that this happens, this document will be updated with the amended Terms & Conditions.
If an insufficient number of eligible entries (as determined by FutureX in its sole discretion) are not received by the closing date, FutureX reserves the right not to award a prize or carry out the competition.
